We’re thrilled to put out the split “Feinde” by Doomed Life and our own N.’s alter ego Lodge as a physical release only; it is not available for streaming or download. There is no need to describe what to expect from either project — they are both forging ahead without compromise. The main cover art is created by the great Yossip. The additional collage is created by Lodge.
We’re delighted to release the new album “Harry — A Life Of Misery” by our friend sounds of fading on cassette. This is the first release since four years following “War is (over)” from 2022 and “The Garden” from 2021.
sounds of fading is a blackened dark ambient project from Hamburg (GER). Consisting of K., who is also part of the drone duo Tremor Hex, the project merges synthesized waveforms with noise, harsh vocals, and sound effects. The result is a deeply immersive listening experience, somewhere between subterranean ambience and the spectral remains of black metal, unfolding into fragments of a dying world and dissolving into silence.
“Harry — A Life Of Misery tells a story of hatred, suffering, and despair — a downfall into guilt, hopelessness, and punishment. Narrated by pounding synths, samples, and dying drones.“ —sounds of fading
Anticipate combines elements of electro-acoustics, ambient, slow motion techno and found house with traces of filtered influences ranging from jazz, post rock, classical, dub, musique concrete and minimalism. The emphasis is on using electronics to rework, reassemble and redevelop sound — whether it be instrumental or otherwise — from outside the computer, with the hope of finding the best balance of two worlds — creating something that has roots in our physical realm, but is abstracted in the digital one.

Microcosm produces variations on the theme of minimal techno. The aim is to find new ways of working within the constraints of that definition, and focusing on the form of the music as much as the function of the genre. Dance music that is not too concerned with being dance music.

Lukas Kannemann (kskefk) through minimalistic, multifaceted sonic explorations. His installative works and performances revolve around themes such as (non)spaces, (material) cycles, time(lessness), boredom, error, persistence, acceptance, interaction, and repetition. These elements become tools in his search for an intrinsic, trance-like state that carries both himself and the listener into a shared moment of sonic bliss.
sound explorations from the attempt to connect the insides of an abandoned japanese temple to the vast space there is through repetitive movements of a connector/medium in spirit. “der stein bleibt hier nicht liegen” was a first try of Lukas Kannemann expressing his thoughts in something soundless, and then adressing this soundless space with music. “hati-hati anjing” carries some parts of these rhythm rituals.
